Mary Katrantzou x adidas Originals ZX 5000 (2014)

A kaleidoscopic collab. Fashion designer Mary Katrantzou, hailed as “The Queen of Print”, is renowned for her innovative patterns and graphic vision, blending technology with the luxury of craftsmanship. In 2014, she reinvented the adidas ZX 5000 in her unmistakable style, with six striking interpretations of the iconic silhouette, merging high-fashion couture with sportswear.

A celebration of feminine strength, each design featured vivid floral prints, metal studs, and intricately detailed Torsion and EVA sole plates. The result was an explosion of hyper-colourful innovation, all atop the iconic ZX 5000’s mesh upper, synthetic overlays and textile linings.
