adidas Originals ZX 500 OG Weave Electricity Navy (2014)

The OG gets weave treatment. Launched as a part of the adidas Originals FLUX series, the ZX 500 OG was revisited with one tight weave with tonal threading running through the upper, mimicking and reimagining the original's paneled look of the classic 1984 ZX 500 runner, with a sleeker, deconstructed aesthetic that served as an alternative to popular Flyknit models.

Retaining the iconic silhouette’s style, the ZX’s ultimate retro runner saw a plastic D-ring lacing system, suede heel cap, TPU heel support, and EVA foam midsole for the same cushioning and stability as the OG, just thirty years later. The shoe was available in multiple colourways including dark slate, blue, and yellow.
