Art in the details. An iconic fixture of Portland’s collector culture, Compound Gallery was a haven for toy and sneakerheads alike. Their take on the adidas ZX 500 appeared understated at first glance, but a closer look revealed a silhouette rich in nuance and intention.
Hexagonal detailing, black denim, reflective accents, and honeycombed ripstop introduced layered textures across the upper, while red ghillie lace eyelets and a thorn-print heel added striking visual contrast. A subtle nod to Compound Gallery’s deep-rooted love of art.
