adidas Originals ZX 500 HUF (2008)

An ode to the SF railroad. San Francisco’s HUF paid tribute to the city’s railroad heritage through the adidas ZX 500, drawing inspiration from the hickory-striped uniforms worn by railway workers.

The silhouette’s canvas upper featured brass eyelets, a branded ghilly lacing system, tipped laces, and all-over tongue lettering, all finished off with a gum outsole. The collab came packaged with a matching striped drawstring bag and brass badges, adding depth to the storytelling through every detail.
