A dependable all-round runner of its era. The adidas ZX 420 was developed as a versatile running and training shoe for both adults and juniors. It came complete with a nylon and polypag mesh and synthetic suede overlay upper, atop a two-density PU midsole and extended heel counter for elite comfort and stability.

A strip of reflective material within the upper heel cup offered reflective visibility in low-light conditions to complete a silhouette born for running but living far beyond sport and into lifestyle - a status cemented with a 2014 re-release.
