adidas ZX 100 (1985)

The entry-option runner. The lowest numbered adidas ZX model is now an elusive silhouette, but in the early 1980s the lightweight, everyday training shoe was an affordable entry into adidas running.

At its core was a mesh and suede upper, basic heel clip, and die cut EVA outsole. No glitz. The adidas ZX 100 was born with a core focus of accessibility.
